CW: Opinion piece. Generalisation.
Reflecting on an #Australian #roadtrip from top to bottom, I feel duty bound to report that the health of country(*) and level of its care can be ranked from good to abysmal as follows:
1. Aboriginal protected areas
2. Cattle rangelands
3. State forest reserves
4. National parks
5. Broadacre farming* Not rigourous science, just observations of things like native vegetation, weeds, hot bushfire damage, clarity of water in creeks, etc.

The #canberraliberals can fuck right off.
In the unlikely event I lodge a postal vote, I'll send it straight to the AEC thankyou very much, not to the LIBERAL PARTY so they can harvest data, and may or may not forward my vote on.
What happens when the Lib party staff member or volunteer notices that a postal vote is not going their way? Any guarantee there are not a few votes accidentally falling off the table in to the bin?
[Edit: this process harvests information about the voter, not their vote itself. This spam is only offering to 'help' us request a postal vote from the AEC.]
I cannot believe this practice is legal. But of course it is, because #australianlabor agrees with the Libs they should be exempt from #privacy laws.

Would love to see it happen and prove it can be done for the betterment of the country but, Bandt has to deal with the Labor Warlords, who would rather be in opposition than share power. It’s a game to them.

In order to fight racism we need to be more racist.
In order to prevent anthropogenic climate change we need to burn more fossil fuels.
In order to fight poverty we need to keep social security payments below poverty levels.
In order to stop a global war we need to spend more on the global war industry.
In order to maintain our democracy we have to punish whistleblowers and limit the right of people to protest against our corrupt governance.
In order to advance Labor policy we have to ostracise people who show support for Labor policy. -

@danilic could you make a video on
‘Community forestry’ - the new name for native forest logging.
This is what ‘community forestry’ looks like: Like native forest logging. Exactly like it. Barren soil. Piles of logs.
And not subject to the same regulation. This area had all the #trees knocked over in the last month. #forest #ecology #environment #auspol #australianlabor #vicpol #lies #politics -
