The sky is a sickly shade of powder blue, like a Nudie Suit, from the Saharan dust plume. The water tastes of zebra mussels. Someone obviously messed with Texas. I want them found and brought to me.

It's been getting pretty warm in #Austin for the past few weeks, EXCEPT TODAY OMG. That polar vortex broke containment and touched us with its frigidly appendage, dumping all the humidity in the air onto our heads. Wow.

I mean, I guess it's good we finally got rain, but it's miserable outside. And apparently I love misery because I sat out there for hours.

On days like today, I'm glad that I've had a few years of #FieldDay practice and the equipment to at least charge my phone, run some lights, and power some devices completely from battery if the power goes out. It's no genset, but it'll do in a pinch. Hopefully we're not pinched.
