Dass Deutschland null auf den Klimawandel vorbereitet ist, wurde mir schon Anfang der 2020er Jahre in meiner kurzen Zeit in Frankfurt am Main klar.
Bäume und Grünflächen absolute Mangelware, Klimaanlagen nicht existent, dafür umfangreiche Beton- und Straßenwüste.
Bin froh, dass sie hier in Asunción schlauer sind. Hier dürfte es deutlich mehr Bäume als Gebäude geben, Bäume sind streng geschützt. Bei Neubauten muss der Baumbestand explizit in die Planung einbezogen werden, Fällungen sind grundsätzlich genehmigungspflichtig. Bei illegaler Fällung ist eine Geldbuße fällig und für jeden gefällten Baum müssen 10 neue gepflanzt werden. Und noch einiges mehr.
