The Giants beat the #Astros 1-4 yesterday & looking at the box score the starter & bullpen did a good job of actually pitching (giving up only 5 hits & 1 run on 138 pitches combined) & the hitters did just enough to score enough runs (4 on 9 hits including 1 HR) to win the game.
Nice to see the Giants actually play like a MLB team. The only issues that that jumped out to me from the box score were the 8Ks out of 33ABs & the 2-13 RISP but there's nothing new about these things with this team. 🤷♂️

It's mostly in their heads, but with all of the echoing in there from fans, it's hard for them to sort it out.
Starter Blake Tidwell pitched very well. Their defense was fine. The bullpen is not doing its part at the end of games, and the batters try too hard to make up for it.

The announce team is very sympathetic to Grant's struggles at the plate. Hitting it hard, but getting not much to show for it yet. Batting .086 after that out - he's had a lot of those kinds of non-hits.
