1/ O holy laziness! I decided not to go to the museum because rainy 14°C is not so much comfortable for sitting outside. I will enjoy the pleasant coolness in my studio before the heat returns. My excuse: So many #BiodiversityShrines for the exhibition in October are not ready yet. (Look on the hashtag for more). Reading De Landa’s 2016 book, Assemblage Theory (enjoying it, connects with previous reading and research, though definitely not a light read)…

One thing that strikes me is how it feels a bit like a Buddhist (or more generally religious?) commentary. I’m only a few dozen pages in, but it seems entirely focused on commenting on and extending Deleuze and Guattari. Not unlike how a Buddhist scholar might comment on and extend a particular sutra.
