Looked outside this morning and spied the overnight labor of an orb spider. Shining in the sun.
About 1m across and about 1.5m above the ground, anchored by a tree, the ground, and the raised bed critter guard. The center of the web was 2m away from any anchor point.
Grabbed the camera with the macro and grabbed some shot before the morning Ruby walk.
Lucky I did, it was gone when we returned, probably a bird got a face full of web. Better them than me.

While taking out the trash I spotted this little critter, a Gray Treefrog (Dryophytes versicolor). So says image search.
It had just started to rain, and I guess this was a good place for a soak.
I had been hearing lots of amphibian songs in the evening, this was the first in person meeting.
