I had a great afternoon out yesterday, combining a bunch of my favourite things; learning interesting new things, chatting with engaging people and modern #architecture!
I was lucky enough to pick up an invitation to the Institute of Financial Accountants #IFA annual conference and awards hosted in the magnificent Royal College of Physicians.

The Children's book #illustration master's course at #ARU is an absolute behemouth, once again, not one, but two students winning prizes and getting the very highest level of recognition for their amazing work. Brilliant stuff!

Wrapping up #FeelGoodFriday with a bit of local press for one of our #Apprentices.
Liam has smashed his way through the #CivilEngineering course, including a degree & his #ProfessionalReview for the #InstituteOfCivilEngineers securing himself a natty little 'IEng' post-nominal + setting himself well on the way to #Chartership.
His employer have been long term partners with #ARU over the last 5 years and I can't wait to see their younger cohorts achieving the same!

It's a longtime fact that the #ARU #Masters in #childrensbooks #illustration is a (not very well kept) secret powerhouse amongst our #university course portfolio.
In this year's @Waterstones childrens book prizes 4 out of the 6 nominees are from the course, an incredible achievement (even though it seems to keep happening this way!)

We went the extra mile for an employer who got let down by another #DataScience #Apprenticeship provider very late in the application cycle last year (just as the course was due to start).
Not only are they now commited to #ARU as their main provider, they're looking to move the rest of their #apprentices from the incumbent provider to us.
"I have to say, having experience of another DS programme prior to ARU… the guys seem to be on the better course!"

Just catching up on some stats about our #Apprenticeship delivery here at #ARU Not only are we #UniversityofTheYear but we have over 3200 #apprentices and in excess of 650 employers that we're working with (the great majority of which are #SMEs) - no wonder I'm exhausted most of the time!
