First time ever playing #Arma3 Apex missions 😅
They're harder than most but very nice. My friend who just bought it is slowly learning why #Arma is such an icon in the video game landscape.The main key points we found that make it a complete UFO in the landscape are

- it's one of the only games that make you think about the real thing and how horrible it is. We're both Vampire the masquerade players and we get that same ick+attraction to the monstrosities in Arma as in VtM.
- the fact you can pretty much do anything you can think of makes the game scary but also very freeing.
- it's truly timeless graphics wise which don't break the immersion one bit
- the multiplayer functionalities were incredible when the they first added then and are still some of the best today in Arma III
- the amount of mods is unparalleled which also makes this game a relic of a better time where people had their servers, and it's not like Skyrim mods, it's total conversions left right top and bottom
- the Eastern European feel is very real which is really not common and adds to the mystique
So yeah... Deffo in my recommendations when it's 75% off (the solo campaign "contact" extension is short but amazing). Don't forget people don't buy arma extensions for the story (fuck I only just started playing Apex) but to add stuff in their Zeus campaign or mod list.

They're harder than most but very nice. My friend who just bought it is slowly learning why #Arma is such an icon in the video game landscape.The main key points we found that make it a complete UFO in the landscape are
- it's not fun orientated, it's full immersion and you learn to like it
