Benefit for Tejido Anticarcelario

Tejido Anti Carcelario is an autonomous, abolitionist initiative operating within Colombian state-controlled territory. Its goal is to break the isolation of prisoners (especially those incarcerated for political reasons and social protest) by weaving networks of solidarity, memory, and resistance beyond the prison bars.

It organizes political and cultural activities, always based on horizontal organization and self-management, without any support from the state or NGOs. Events include talks with prisoners' families, updates on the cases of detained comrades, fairs, workshops, screen-printing sessions, and community kitchens. They also hold artistic events featuring tattoos, piercings, and music to raise funds and collect toiletries, food, and clothing, which are sent directly to prisoners to minimally improve the conditions of those deprived of their liberty and their families.
