Not a fan of the Economist magazine, but it it struck me how much these supposed "cheap" drones cost, $50-100,000 - what could I do with that amount, well that would probably be almost enough for someone like me to buy their apartment and no piss money away to a parasite landlord.
Germany is now building a whole load of tanks. One Leopard 2 tank costing about 8 million USD (~7.5 million euros) could theoretically fund the salaries of approximately 125 to 187 full-time teachers for a year.
Remember, a tank is not like a tractor. A tractor can produce usable value through producing food in it's lifetime. A tank, if used, will do the opposite.
