Ankor Wat - Verden største tempel
Angkor Wat er et tempelkompleks ved Angkor i Cambodja, der ligger nogle få kilometer nord for den moderne by Siem Reap.Angkor Wat blev optaget på UNESCOs verdensarvsliste den 14. december 1992. Ved samme lejlighed blev hele det arkæologiske område omkring Angkor, som omfatter hundredvis af templer, inkluderet som ét samlet verdensarvsområde.
Templet er bygget til kong Suryavarman 2. i begyndelsen af det 12. århundrede.

This week I visited ancient Cambodian temples. There are loads of temples all over #Cambodia and they are so fascinating, the most famous being #AnkorWat. I was there already, but I need to go again, you can spend days there. Most of the temples are not very well accessible for international tourists, so there are mostly Cambodians visiting them, especially since this week is the #PchumBen festival, one of Cambodias 3 most important national holidays.
