Cats staring out the window don't just do that because they're judging the outside world or whatever. They want to be outside to take in the sights and make use of whatever instincts they have left.

It didn't seem that way when everyone was protesting during the COVID lockdown. You don't want to live out your entire life indoors. What should they? At the very least, they should have that option.
Of course, this is a best-case scenario. Living indoors is still better than being caged up in an overpopulated animal shelter... Meanwhile, the super-rich are free as a bird on their luxury yachts. Sheesh!
