    For some reason I wanted to know how you get rid of angular momentum in space to stop your spacecraft from spinning. Easy to imagine small rockets or just gas vents reducing the spin. But how do you get it to exactly, zero, 0.0000000...?

    I came across Yo-yo spin. It does not seem to solve the exactly zero goal, but it is anyway a really ingenious device.
