The biggest challenge for widespread adoption of electric cars seems to be reliable, well-maintained, networked charging stations. So what large company could make the investment and build it out? I thought of AMPM mini marts, but they are owned by ARCO-BP, and each mart is franchised. So that would not solve the problem.
