Sometimes it takes you a few decades (or more!) to realize the gender you thought you were and the pronouns you've been using your whole life are an itchy sweater - one that gets itchier every time you have to pretend to be something you're not.

I wrote this metaphor to help people understand what it feels like to transition gender/pronouns later in life. (And it's a zine, too!)
