Today, Iraq repatriated 618 people from al-Hol camp: its 5th repatriation mission of 2025. 2,980 Iraqis have now been repatriated so far this year, already exceeding 2024's total of 2,740.
Iraq has repatriated a total of 17,796 people from the camp since 2017, as per RIC data.

Commenting on the multiple security operations conducted in the camp in the past 3 years, Hanan said, "we found and confiscated weapons. Crimes and stuff reduced a lot".
2019-2022, 150 in-camp killings occurred. Since then, RIC tracked only 3 killings.
