After only a little over a year here in the #Fediverse, I've had close to twice the number of followers I ever had in my 15 years at the old bird site. I highly doubt the reason is because I've gotten any more charming since I migrated here.

The state of Facebook: I looked over 6 screens at 33% size and counted. 3/13 posts are advertisements. 10/13 posts are from groups I’ve liked - some dated a week ago. 0/13 posts from family/friends - despite the fact that they’d posted in the last hour. #AlgorithmsSuck #FuckFacebook -
