OpenAI has announced Dots, digital assistants that can continue tasks while a user is away from their computer.
Each Dot operates independently and can browse the web through its own browser.
Users may also grant a Dot access to their computer and apps; app permissions can be reviewed and disconnected from the Dot’s menu.
