@EgyptianAphorist I like the idea of an underground process at work during a time that feels fallow, with us unaware of our own unconscious activity, constructing new connections & channels.
Maybe what we feel is spillover from that activity — we feel a sense of effort, but we don't see what is causing it or what it is accomplishing. We're bystanders on the conscious side of a semi-permeable wall.
