From the same panel session, I liked the advice from Matthew Shaw to say "Invest to advance" rather than "cost to support" and to consistently use "advance" rather than "support" to emphasize how the library moves the institution forward. #acrl2023

Conference time! A number of my co-workers are going to Code4lib this week, and some other colleagues are going to ACRL as well. I look forward to hearing in the Fediverse what they're talking about! (Code4lib's official hashtag appears to be #c4l23 . ACRL appears to be using #ACRL2023 as an official conference hashtag on Twitter; I don't know if that org is here as well, but a least some of the attendees are.)
