This introduced so many new technologies, I had to run a check on "Where are they now?" The ARM chip's legacy is a given, but the other stuff in the stack might surprise you.

Scenes from Oroville, CA
The indigenous California peoples harvested acorns and ground the meal on stone mortars using stone pestles. One of the saddest stories is Ishi, the the last known member of the Native American Yahi people. In 1911, aged 50, he emerged at a barn and corral, 2 mi from downtown Oroville.
