@johnblackmore I would love this.but I think the #CreditCard networks have a few behavioral moats that make #a2apayments difficult to gain traction. 1. credit card rewards incentivize consumer to use cards, retailers will need to reciprocate for a2a with rewards or discounts 2. when/where retailer pays interchange there’s no WIFM for consumer to change to help retailer save money

They say to build the product that solves your problem. This week I've been working on a concept for an #A2Apayments mobile point-of-sale application. I find it quite exciting to think we could roll this out to small businesses in the UK as a solid #OpenBanking alternative to card-based solutions. Immediate settlement of payments, and no card network fees. I'd happily use it myself and I know a bunch of people who could use it too.
