Still proud of this bit of VBIOS modding - My GTX 750 Ti is slot power only and sucking down 60 W - Stock, nVidia limited this (900 Series!) GPU to 37.5W - Even the ones with external power connectors. It was all show.
In the case of this specific GPU, I'm running it at 100% load at 60W (Any higher and I found that the motherboard started to get squirrely), which is just under double the rated power, completely stable and with temps under control.
I am currently on the hunt for anyone with knowledge of a VBIOS I can flash to my EVGA 3070 XC3 Ultra (LHS) to increase the allowed TDP on it.
