Today, I was composing in the 18th-century Western music style for the first time in a long time.
It is not a sonata form in the strict sense of the word, but one will make it clear that I am not an artist. I am a designer at heart.
The difference between being an artist and a designer is essential to me.
I am a designer, so I don’t care about the area of expression or work I do. It just so happens that the areas where I am needed are web design and UI design, so that’s what I do.Had I been born and raised in 18th-century Vienna, I would have written many easy-listening pieces of music for the background music of royalty and aristocracy instead of focusing on composition as an art form.
