Grabsteine verschiedener Friedhöfe, die Geschichten erzählen. Sie verraten durch Symbole und Inschriften, womit die Beerdigten ihr Leben füllten. Ich kann natürlich nicht ausschließen, dass statt Beruf auch einzelne Hobbies dabei waren.

Die meisten Gräber der Familie Krupp auf dem Bredeneyer Friedhof in Essen sind tatsächlich hierher verlegt worden. Die Familienmitglieder lagen auf verstreuten Friedhöfen, die teilweise einem Stadtumbau weichen mussten. Nun sind sie alle vereint. Hier liegt Friedrich Alfred Krupp unterm großen Vogel.

Auch, wenn ich das identische Motiv heute schon gesehen habe: Auf dem Dortmunder Südwestfriedhof gibt es eine große Abteilung für Soldaten.

For Day 11: Military #31daysofgraves I give you the final resting place of Vickers Wellington Bomber MF509, that crashed at Garreg Goch (Red Stone), in the Brecon Beacons, Wales on 20 November 1944, killing all her Canadian crew. Three memorials now exist, two plaques and a new 2025 addition, a commemorative model added by @ted_coningsby Lest We Forget 🙏

There are some tombstones in a small area of the cemetery of Dellwig in Froendenberg with little birds.
