This stand alone title was published by Oni Press in 2003.

I picked up this title because when the Scott Pilgrim cartoon on Netflix coming out my interest more piqued then it had been previously by the discourse. But I was feeling lazy, so I figured I would start with O'Malley's stand alone title.

Sometimes I just don't have the attention or I don't apply the skills I've gathered over time to this particular book and the creative spark and thought the author puts on the page just passes right over my head.

Anyway, I LOVED Some Desperate Glory so much I immediately ran out and got Emily Tesh's earlier novellas.

I'm not doing a very good job of reading them and the magic is passing me by.

I'm very nearly finished with Jenette McCurdy's "I'm Glad My Mom is Dead" and it's a real thing. The trauma is icky, the honesty is real, and the end result is a desire to look at myself with an unflinching gaze.

Right now, though, my big take away is that the Venn Diagram between asshole and victim has tremendous overlap. I don't really know what to do with that.
