Basically we have two speaker systems we use on our Friday night social #FolkRidingBikes rides, and I have a Rode wireless mic.
We're (ab)using the mic to be an audio relay between bike-at-the-front and bike-at-the-back but the line-out from the speaker is too high for the mic input on the Rode and it was distorting. This lets us dial down the level to give us good tunes 😀

@paulywill @taur10 @alan @stevendbrewer I want to be nice, because the people I met were. And dedicated. I worked to build Zowe applications for the CLI and an iframe app for the Zowe Desktop, which I think they've renamed to zlux. The idea that having the devs leave comments in the code would generate documentation IMHO was wrong headed and caused me endless headache. Weeks, months, for what should have taken days—with the code base changing and depricating for a conservative industry needed stable APIs and simple straightforward doc, like Zowe for Dummies or an O'Reilly. I believe adoption has suffered outside the niche community as a result. The devs know what they were doing, but the application programmers were left in the cold or to read the code. Nice kit, once I got it, which is why I did some presentations at the Open Mainframe Summit detailing what I learned, and shortcuts I made by disassembling the Typescript so I could code in pure nodejs. I built some large CLI systems that emulate our mainframe product through REST, (E)JES. That's it in a nutshell.
I now write #fiction. Still logic, in a different form.

Stayed up too late coding (or modifying WP site to function properly)... spent the rest of the night tossing and turning thinking about webdev code for the first time in a long time.
Sleepless night ended with a dream of my old mentor giving me the tough love treatment as work production system is waiting on me and he refuses to turn his back or help.
Just like the old days 😵💫

Alright topped up with distilled water… first time I’ve tamed down a brew.
Sample had a nice light colour and bitter that I was after…going to dry hop this one as well. I’m going to just dump the hops in the fermzilla all rounder and purge with C02 rather than use magnets and hop bags.
Always prefer or lean towards trying new things.

Have a bit of a love hate with the old Brewzilla…rocker switch on the 1000w element popped last night during prep…oh so those randomly fail too? Was going to gift away my OG propane burner and kettle but it’s saving the brew day.

First term days, a friend that married into a family whose Uncle was a minster in the Trudeau gov’t was at the White House and actually met the 🍊🤡.
He said that he is EXACTLY what he seems like IRL. Making the analogy that even Don Cherry, did not act like Don Cherry IRL.
They sat down to have a lunch in the White House with other dignitaries and “that guy” is going on and on about how wonderful the White House menu in cursive looks. Then asks this minister if he’d like an autograph copy of the menu.
Not to be rude he said sure. They walk into the Oval Office, which alone is quite the experience even for this minister and “that guy” autographs the lunch menu with a Sharpie then proceeds to rant at length of how great Sharpies are.
I honestly was skeptical of the entire story and thought it was too comical and farcical.
But have good authority and confidence it was 💯 true and think about whenever I use a Sharpie.
Thus, need some alternatives around the house.
