@smarthomejunkie @balloob As someone with a primarily #ZWave and #Insteon (I know, I know) network, I'm genuinely interested in what it means. I see from https://www.home-assistant.io/skyconnect/ that it supports #Zigbee; but we already have that, right? I know that #Thread exists, but I'm confused on how it relates to #Matter and is anybody actually making #Thread / #Matter switches, thermostats, etc? I don't see it mentioned when I look for such things. Thank you!

Cracked it. I noticed that my USB cable to the #SkyConnect was crossing over the USB cable to the SSD. Thanks to @balloob for this video.

The pictures below we taken with my other fix. I swapped the SkyConnect cable for an old Apple USB extension cable. It is longer, also looks more shileding. It is a very old silver cable. As soon as I put the IKEA bulb in pairing mode, HA found it.
