Soundtrack was mostly Les Louanges, their new album "Alouette!" and their prior album "Crash."
I've been loving Alouette, great record. Also made me pull out the Hubert Lenoir album from a few years ago, some similar eclectic electropop (?) Vibes.
(Very similar sound palettes as Dijon's album from last year, to my ears.)

Been looking for some good barn restoration resources.
This is one of the better-looking things on Youtube, a five-part series including some common problems with older Midwestern barns.

Listening to Georgia Anne Muldrow's "Ocotea" for the first time in ages and good lord it's so good.
Like, what even is its predecessor? Yesterdays New Quintet? Music is One Rotted Note? I can't think of much that sounds like it and was done mostly via electronics.

This interview w/Quest and Georgia Anne Muldrow is LIT and why don't I just listen to non-stop interviews with GAM. She is an absolute gem and a mood lifter.
I'm only 30 minutes in and I already know I'm going to replay this soon.

Yes, I am probably going to post random quotes for the next hour.

As we lie down to sleep the world turns half away
through ninety dark degrees;
the bureau lies on the wall
and thoughts that were recumbent in the day
rise as the others fall,
stand up and make a forest of thick-set trees. The armored cars of dreams, contrived to let us do
so many a dangerous thing,
are chugging at its edge
all camouflaged, and ready to go through
the swiftest streams, or up a ledge
of crumbling shale, while plates and trappings ring.-- Elizabeth Bishop, "Sleeping Standing Up"
