Drivers are not psychic, we cannot read your mind nor do we have superhuman night vision.
Have some empathy with the driver. Try to imagine what you look like from 50-40-30m away to a driver checking the dash, mirrors, cabin, looking for kids on scooters, potentially being distracted by passengers ....
Hint: if the buses indicators have not come on signalling it is pulling into your stop, the driver hasn't seen you. Therefore you need to work harder to be seen.
