Deciding on whether to keep plowing through White House Plumbers on HBO. Aside from interesting criminal political history about Watergate, the show is a miss. Trying for a hip satiric take, it’s more often way too cartoonish in its script, direction and performances. But they did spend a lot of money on authentic period props which are actually fascinating to see as they pop up.

#GentlemanJack — most probably gone for good. Suranne Jones Was incredible. The show was bravely written. Deserved more eyeballs.
#PerryMason — another extremely well-written series with tough low-key performances. It’s far from a 1930s nostalgia piece—it’s dark, grim and gritty and the tales it tells are not easily tied up with a bow. Fantastic show that I never see get talked up.

I recall a one page ad over 15 years ago in a gaming magazine but I’ve seen nothing since (but then, I haven’t looked at a gaming magazine in over 15 years 🤷🏼♂️)
