Now, I try to be careful and remember if you snark on someone's art on social media, occasionally they'll stumble across you insulting their hard work.

So if anyone from #PeterPanAndWendy finds this, know that I think you executed this aesthetic very well. You are gifted. But forget this gold-blue spectrum and close your eyes and imagine a world no one has ever seen before. Shown in a way no one has seen.

That what children's fantasy needs. Wonder. Not a magazine layout.

People like to hate on #Disney and often rightly so as a corporation (although they are exactly the corporation we asked for and deserve) but Disney the studio was at one time visually brilliant. Innovative. Gorgeous.

Old Roy may have liked to rat out "commies" but he wouldn't have put out anything this visually safe and sterile.

I gave #PeterPanAndWendy (2023) a shot and I'm so happy I did. It turned out to be a great film - actually managing to improve on the source material. It told a more concise and coherent story, with a big emotional impact - and with some utterly stunning scenetograpgy. Definitely well worth watching. 🧚🏽‍♀️

Just finished watching #PeterPanAndWendy with the family and we all enjoyed it! The story line kept true to the original movie and book and added some nice elements that made for an entertaining afternoon family movie!
