@lednaBM An excellent concept, #WealthLine! I come to the discussion from the perspective of supporting my elderly dad in care. So, his #WealthLine needs to be sufficient to pay for his care. I suppose if he dies leaving enough of his wealth to leave me an inheritance, the #WealthLine as applied to me could then be discussed. I think I'd apply it to myself the same as to my dad, being sufficient to pay for my care in old age. This would be moot if the US provided an old age safety net.

I was just watching a gleeful mob of sparrows having a very vigorous dirt bath in the back garden and this tune popped into my head: https://youtu.be/FIRFxf6RweE?feature=shared

@Deglassco @[email protected] @[email protected] A good accompaniment to this excellent thread is the fact that yesterday was Buffalo Soldier Day: https://www.army.mil/article/248832/honoring_national_buffalo_soldiers_day

Even if you don't have kids in school yourself, even if you don't have kids at all, it's more than worthwhile to attend your local school board meetings. https://hartmannreport.com/p/chapter-7-why-public-schools-are?r=1rtvr5&utm_campaign=post&utm_medium=web&showWelcomeOnShare=false
The kids in school right now are going to be running things in a few years. They need to be literate and definitely not indoctrinated by the xtian nationalists.

Something I wanted to publish last year after doing all of the research for #Cackalackycon - but didn't get to - was an authoritative compendium of all software supply-chain attacks since 1975. My favorite part was researching the early Internet attacks, like wuftpd, sendmail, openssh, ircII.
It's finally up at https://isotope13.ai/compendium/ - enjoy!
