    As a climate scientist, I've long held that 🇩🇪's climate target of neutrality in 2045 isn't ambitious enough to be fair. But under current circumstances, I'll take it - it's not compatible with 1.5, gone anyhow, but possibly with 2.

    After the Brazilian plan failed at last year's COP to develop road maps for fossil phase-out, 57 countries met in Colombia earlier this year to push ahead nonetheless.

    Today, 🇩🇪 was the 3rd EU country to publish it's decarbonisation road map:
