Our Sun today remained at low activity levels and bore only four numbered regions with sunspots. A smattering of filament structures were seen in the chromosphere, via our H-a telescope. Bright plage areas were present near and around the active regions. The solar disk bore a number of prominences around its rim. In all, not a bad session considering it took place in the afternoon due to morning cloudiness. #astronomy #solarastronomy #sun
