Planets usually circle their stars in detached form without any issues. Sometimes the planet gets too close, and the star pulls it in and quickly swallows it whole. Now, for the first time, scientists have spotted a star that seems content to just nibble on its planetary meal, one that could take billions of years to digest. Phys.org reports:
