Today’s #anime was Moribito: Guardian of the Spirit.
When young prince Chagum is thought possessed by an evil spirit, his own father orders him killed. The prince’s mother, however, approaches a spear-wielding bodyguard named Balsa and pays her a great sum to take Chagum away and keep him safe for the rest of their lives.
While there’s some good drama and incredible fights, it’s Balsa putting aside her own priorities and becoming like a mother to Chagum that makes this show so interesting.
