I quit my job because I did not want to take part in growing a company with an AI-first strategy (whatever that means).
I was aware of the current state of the job market, I knew how hard it would be to find anything (it took me over 2 years to land the previous job). I took a plunge anyway.
It's never been this dire. The few open positions are so utterly ridiculous that you really start doubting your own sanity.
