@junesim63 i don't know enough about the subject, and this article was disappointing.
Whilst trying to compare council maintained schools and academies, it didn't explain the distinctions of how the are run and why they may perform better or worse (I.e. Even if academies are not a solution, there must have been a rationale for the change).
I'm none the wiser other than to know they are controversial 🤷♂️ #school #academies #council #uk #government #ukpolitics #education

I agree with the BMA too. I have grave concerns about Palantir . It is like a evil octopus whose tentacles are reaching deep into our organisations aided and abetted by our ridiculous and naive government.
Thank goodness for the BMA , the values of the NHS do not align with the values of Palantir and another system should be identified .

we are bouyed up #slightly by the influx of #hongKong people coming here, but we have lost the life that young #europeans brought

I have always had a special soft spot for #baobabs ever since reading 'Le Petit Prince' at school in England. Later, I lived in Tanzania, where they are as common as ash trees in England, and was delighted all over again. On long journeys, they were especially welcome in staving off boredom 😊 -

Doesn't shock me the idea that it's something he _would've_ done. Seems in character. Just, what a lot more data for curious people to explore, and what a lot more jeopardy for people who used to hang out with him. Bet some curses have flown in the direction of his memory from the people on the recordings.
