This was taken well after #sunset into early darkness but the #peaks of the #himalayas on the #trek to #EverestBasecamp in #Nepal are so high that they catch the glow even after darkness has set in. It’s truly unlike any light I’ve seen.

It arrived very tarnished & the eBay photo of the badge made it look even worse.
I managed to score it for less $50 Aussie, which is a little under a third of what these provincial Scottish silversmith badges sell for.
The motto of "Robore Prudentia Praestat", translates to "Prudence excels strength”.
