#flashprog v1.5 is ready ⚡ grab the source and flash your #firmware!
This release supports the newest Intel and AMD chipsets. The latter, mostly read-only, alas. Plus a bunch of other changes, see the full release notes:

After making it into the @archlinux repository earlier this year, #flashprog found its way into #Debian unstable too now. 🥳 Many thanks to freswa and @sur5r for maintaining these packages!
It would be a nice surprise if we'd still make it into #Debian testing before the freeze tomorrow. Cross your fingers! 🤞

Another release is ready: #flashprog v1.4 waiting to be downloaded! 🥰
This release mostly brings support for new #flash chips, but also some more #SPI #EEPROM. Read more in the release notes:

Flashprog v1.2 is dubbed Quadruped Tortoise 🎉
Our new release is ready for #firmware / #BIOS / #UEFI flashing: https://flashprog.org/wiki/Flashprog/v1.2
It finally brings the first bits of multi i/o and QPI support. Owners of a #Dediprog SF600 will definitely want to try this! 😉 There's also a new driver for #FTDI FT4222H.
After the release is before the release, and we are currently looking for testers of new chipset support: Any testing around Intel Meteor Lake or AMD Zen 4 and beyond is most welcome!

We're preparing for our next release to assist your #firmware, #BIOS, #UEFI hacking:
https://flashprog.org/wiki/Flashprog/v1.2
This one should be particularly interesting for developers: With multi i/o and #QPI support, #flash programming can be a lot faster now. There's a new driver for #FTDI FT4222H USB-to-SPI bridges -- probably our fastest supported programmer -- and #Dediprog SF600 users benefit as well.
Please grab the RC and test it :)
