More than 1.5 million Canadian Crime Stoppers tips leaked, CBC exclusive finds https://www.cbc.ca/news/investigates/canadian-crime-stoppers-tips-leaked-hack-investigation-9.7388820
This is the shared, 'anonymous' tipline application undergirding tiplines run by State AGs, Crime Stoppers, and Sandy Hook Promise, etc.
The developer - Navigate360 - has done nearly everything it can to avoid public disclosure. They are not acting in good faith, and they surely are in violation of multiple states' data breach reporting laws. Can't speak to Canadian law.
For ALL the details and UNPARALLELED reporting on this, your best source is @PogoWasRight. See: https://databreaches.net/2026/09/18/the-u-s-military-leaked-more-than-93000-tips-via-insecure-p3-global-intel-has-anyone-been-notified/ (which includes links to prior reporting)

So first, if you need a fantastic, chill, charming, holiday game make sure you check out @doublefine Costume Quest and Costume Quest 2.
https://www.doublefine.com/games/costume-quest
Despite the links on their own Buy Now page they are available to own digitally DRM Free on GOG. https://www.gog.com/en/games?query=costume%20quest&order=desc:score
They happen to be on sale at $1.50 and $8 respectively.
Also, at least the first game, I haven't tested the second yet, runs quite well from Steam via DroidDeck on my Android tablet (Lenovo Legion Tab Gen3, Snapdragon 8 Gen 3). https://github.com/Droid-Deck/DroidDeck

Friends, if you’re in a position to give this electoral cycle, but have been discouraged by the lack of guidance on how to make the most out of your contributions, this is for you.
As @glyph describes in the thread, this the result of a detailed, grassroots, passion-project analysis of the electoral map looking for districts with great candidates, winnable numbers, and a high likelihood that getting out the vote for one candidate will have the same effect on candidates for other, overlapping districts. There’s a Doublemint jingle in there somewhere, but I’ll spare you that part.
Anyway, this important. I’ll admit that before I got involved, I hadn’t fully understood the details—I just knew that smart people with good judgment were passionate about it, and that was good enough. Having helped in a few small ways, I see just how critical this kind of grassroots strategic cooperation and investment in democracy is. This is exactly how we should be directing our contributions.
If you can spare anything at all, and want to know that your contributions are being allocated in the most effective possible way, please take a look.
