Does anyone have a ELI5 for the trend towards #monorepos now? Not even 4 years ago we were moving AWAY from monolithic structures, now we're moving back??

Friendly reminder that #Xylitol is poisonous to dogs. Spent 20 minutes frantic as hell because my beast of a dog tore into a brand new pact of gum. Googled what could happen and got horrified. Dug through the trash to realize at worst he maybe ate only one piece. Thankfully he's 150lbs, but monitoring to make sure he's okay.
