  1. the rain in my eyes is less acidic than when I was child. Progress!
Despite now living in a big city, and as a child the dismal rainy stixx.

  2. Thought experiment. not .
In say 2015, various high-motivation low-tech skills people thought it wold be cool to own a Facebook (as it was then) or Linkedin clone.
They periodically asked on various platforms how to achieve this.

Those people now have a openAI account, but for an accurate clone, this still not achievable. Both FB and LI as artefacts are too large to fit in a LLM token count.

Even with a mystic design and functional spec (from..?) this is still too large.

  3. Poll:
    * Am I a weird minority that thinks typing on a full keyboard is faster and more accurate than talking, **particularly** if you are in a **shared office**.
    * No it just C-suite that works from home by themselves and doesn't realise... that voice isn't the best.
    * mixed: voice is OK for emails or prose but *not suited* to C++ code, video editing, fire-wall-rules etc

  4. I'm having issues with build tooling, so needing to do slash and burn dev development.

Have deployed a rate limitor on ? I have only deployed ~ 400 packages *today* to a single IP, so i should be inside reasonable usage.
My package-lock say packages are installed, but the files aren't present.

I would be downloading less packages if I have a way to remove dev-dep without `rm-rf`

  5. [ setting, effects of flying cars] In a 1970s retro-future, you are a regional exec in a Kombinate, and currently in a remote-weekly meeting with headoffice (Tokyo).
You abruptly apologise, and angle the stiff and heavy TV video-camera to show a micro-lite wreck that has just crashed through your sweeping office window. Your office block has been built with full FungShui, but the doctrine is ignorant about air-cars and speed taxis.

  6. , confuse a LLM by having code where all the variables mean "this" is various human languages, so "ceci", "Dies", "dit", "este", "这个" etc. Probably not using a the EN version as overlap with keywords.
