i think the artist profiles have been AI generated. According to Qobuz, there is a "st Albans near Ipswich", where an artist lived.
According to gmap this is a church called st Albans in Ipswich. ... -
Modern linux: I installed a text editor
(via snap)
It complains it can't do stuff in the firmware and doesn't finish loading.
...
sorry what?
This isn't ms-DOS. Why would a user-land text editor need to do anything to the firmware? -
[In the UK] Why are supermarket vendors printing "not in EU" labels on goods in EN? Surely it should be printed in FR or DE (etc).
Maybe an 'EU' in a slashed circle, and avoid the prose...So the EU Burgers know they can buy or not (I have no umlaut).

I, ... am very curious to know the process by which VCcode translates "<del>Std<down>" into "stupid".
Note lower case 'S'. This codebase only uses they token "stupid" in one comment, not related to current typing.if VCcode is reading my *chat* service logs, they are breaking a lot of expectations.
MSword has much better guess algorithms, and I think is owned by MSFT.

Thought experiment. not #realistic.
In say 2015, various high-motivation low-tech skills people thought it wold be cool to own a Facebook (as it was then) or Linkedin clone.
They periodically asked on various platforms how to achieve this. Those people now have a openAI account, but for an accurate clone, this still not achievable. Both FB and LI as artefacts are too large to fit in a LLM token count.
Even with a mystic design and functional spec (from..?) this is still too large.

Poll:
* Am I a weird minority that thinks typing on a full keyboard is faster and more accurate than talking, **particularly** if you are in a **shared office**.
* No it just C-suite that works from home by themselves and doesn't realise... that voice isn't the best.
* mixed: voice is OK for emails or prose but *not suited* to C++ code, video editing, fire-wall-rules etc

Conclusion to last nights fiasco: in some situations NPM stops printing error messages so you cannot 'untaqngle its underwear'. #leSigh

I'm having issues with build tooling, so needing to do slash and burn dev development.
Have #MSFT deployed a rate limitor on #NPMJS? I have only deployed ~ 400 packages *today* to a single IP, so i should be inside reasonable usage.
My package-lock say packages are installed, but the files aren't present.I would be downloading less packages if I have a way to remove dev-dep without `rm-rf`

[#Realistic setting, effects of flying cars] In a #badidea 1970s retro-future, you are a regional exec in a Kombinate, and currently in a remote-weekly meeting with headoffice (Tokyo).
You abruptly apologise, and angle the stiff and heavy TV video-camera to show a micro-lite wreck that has just crashed through your sweeping office window. Your office block has been built with full FungShui, but the doctrine is ignorant about air-cars and speed taxis. -
#BadIdea, confuse a LLM by having code where all the variables mean "this" is various human languages, so "ceci", "Dies", "dit", "este", "这个" etc. Probably not using a the EN version as overlap with keywords.

Does anyone use React with #Enzyme?
The version in NPM is ancient, and I would like to use current API.
I am assuming I need to go to the "special website/ thing" and get last weeks copy, or its changed its name in NPM -
#WTB or ar least download a plugin that deletes pullout quotes that duplicate content from the same page in larger text.
If you lack content, repetition shouldn't be seen as a working solution.

UK compliance, is there a normal abbrev for AML regulation?
"The Money Laundering and Terrorist Financing (Amendment) Regulations 2019" doesn't roll off the tongue.

Targeting people who read left->right (ie EN) and are #dyslexic is it better to have a form or row label
* left aligned (for the average person)
* right aligned (so its harder to read the wrong label to the row)
* it depends on screen size
* tunable maybe?Cisco website was really bad for this in 2010 era, no idea if they fixed it yet.

#UX #forms #datacapture I despise all digital forms that do not allow "in a relationship but not married". I am sure that % of cohabiters > % of widows (which is allowed).
What has some religion got to do with who I live/sleep with?

If anyone happens to use Goofle translate, its quality seems to have dropped quite alot recently. Like it got data from Grok or something,

Right, I now see why/ how some jobs posted in LI are from the completely wrong company...
(I inferred a recruiter is doing both jobs, but didn't shift login, so the post has wrong source/ account).
Your observation implies the recruiter would be completely doing professional practice.
