APIGOTO is an OpenAI-compatible LLM gateway: one base_url https://api.apigoto.com/v1 for Claude, GPT and Gemini, automatic failover capped at 3 retries, per-request logs, BYOK, pay-per-use.
Question: is a fixed cap of 3 retries a sensible default, or should it be configurable per request?
