There's little evidence that any one healthcare system performs better across the board than another. Countries improve their healthcare systems by reforming what exists rather than adopting an alternative. The UK performs behind the USA for preventable causes mortality. A US style privatised system is clearly not the route. Johnny Mercer and Kate Andrews are deceiving us.

  2. The NHS or Tories, you can't have both

  3. @glynelwyn allied health professionals in medical Imaging use it to ensure quality control referencing policy, best practice guidelines etc.
Ultimately, only as strong as the evidence base in the first place.

  4. colleagues in healthcare. With a lot of craziness affecting our medical and nursing colleagues, does anyone have a sense of guilt about how our specific pressures are eifher less abysmal or even just plain different to theirs?

Is there an AHP-NHS imposter syndrome or have soms of us least just felt undervalued?
How many of us would really like to be able to do more than we can, professionally, physically, safely?

  5. CW: Are nurses paid enough?

@bestforbritain nope, and neither are any of the 14 professions within the family.

  6. waiting lists overtime this morning.
Misjudged the traffic (well the lack of it) and my need for coffee.
Sitting patiently waiting for someone to turn up and open the department.
Shout out to all my colleagues working evenings and weekends, because AHPs get forgotten. Healthcare isn't just Drs and nurses.
    and are my family.
