I don't want to say that P3 is a BAD idea for transit, but it has to be done very carefully. The good examples are rare and the many bad ones usually inspire headlines with words like "forced to resign."

Random thoughts:
1) I still love "Southern Harmony..." and "Amorica" by #blackcrowes . Lots of #GenX despair hiding behind their Stones meets Otis Reading sound. Perfect '90s rock.
2) #VESchwab 's "A Gathering of Shadows" goes on the list of great sequels. Stellar stuff and better than #book 1.
3) The smart thing would be to work from home on #NFLDraft2026 day, but I want to take the bus downtown just to see how much of a meltdown the city experiences. -

I'm coming to the conclusion that my minimum acceptable position is that all prisoners must be released and everyone who was deported must be returned to the US. "End the crackdown" is not even close.
(yes, even the violent criminals need to be brought back and face charges.)

7. This is the epic closer! "The Last Planet" is full-on Boston/Floyd/70s classic rock style #jamrock burner that has five distinct phases and stretches to 12:45! How #prog is it? Did I mention that it has not one but TWO #Mellotron solos?

The PG Editorial Board wants to see more “just work” projects from #pittsburgh Regional #Transit, not “flashy” (but implying that replacing the T trains is a splurge?) so I’ll point at two other meat-and-potatoes transit projects underway or about to start: 1) transit and pedestrian improvements from Homestead to McKeesport will bring rapid service to the Mon Valley that will be the envy of the region (kudos #PennDOT !) 2) a new garage will enable world class zero-emissions bus service.

Interesting use of the #FTA Route Restoration grant to look at #microtransit in #Charlotte. CATS is proposing to replace 3 neighborhood circulators with an app-hailed on-demand service. Public meetings start tomorrow. This is one of the better use cases for the concept.
