The Muslim book (the Quran) does not speak against eating horse meat. The Bible (the Old Testament for both Jew and Christian) does give God's revelation that the horse is unclean, because it does not chew the cud or divide the hoof like a true ruminant, and therefore should not be eaten.If the Roman Catholic church is what invaded Hungary, they were not known to actually share the Bible in the native language.
