  1. @daniellesatm #antisemitic beliefs are horrid, but a minority.

Most people with a negative opinion of Israel are antizionists - many of them Jews themselves. They do not harbor violent thoughts, but only oppose the apartheid which is today's Israel.

Your equating #antizionism to #antisemitisim is a #dogwhistle meant to snap all Jews to support the segregation project. You are manipulating them with fear.

#Zionism is a 100year project to hijack #judaism. People of the world see through it.

    Exactly this.

This won't free any of those held in Iranian prisons who are set to be put to death or bring back any of the thousands he executed.

It is simply another group of lives ended by his decision: in this case, investing resources in death and destruction around the world rather than on newer, safer flying technology, as well as the recklessness in flying through dangerous conditions.

Raisi died as he lived: bringing suffering and death to those around him. That's nothing to celebrate, even as it takes away his ability to do it ever again.

  3. I was thinking about a recent post by @daniellesatm about the fact that she has lost many followers, and revenue, simply for being a Jew.

I think that this has become a universal experience of diasporatic Jews. We've lost people in our lives.

In a recent episode of Unorthodox, Brett Gelman speaks candidly about this in his own life, as book stores have canceled his appearances- even local bookstores that he's bought books from for years.

While he's certainly a lot more spicy than I am (ie blunt to the point of somewhat offensive), between his bluntness, he addresses serious issues that not only Jews face from gentiles, but the issues that we Jews have faced from ourselves, the internalized antisemitism that the disaporatic culture has injected into us.

I have a more nuanced view than he does on these issues, but his anger and outrage are very understandable and completely relatable to me.

  7. Ya' know that ONE MOVIE that you'd even watch NZB'd in #Telesync downloaded from a source that would probably give you herpes?

Yeah, that movie is #BadShabbos for me!

I know, I know. TMI! But I'd still risk it!

  8. Hey y'all, anyone else watching #HouseOfDavid? Is it one of those "Made by zealots" shows/movies?

I like many series like this as in #Netflix's "Testament: The Story of Moses".

BUT for some reason this one - just in it's opening few minutes - feels really "zealoty"...

    Opinions?

  9. ARGH! #SuperManII directors did NOT understand how gravity works! If "grunt" there wasn't grounded to the moon, he would've just flown up WITH the space capsule! He COULD NOT have held the capsule down like this! C'mon 1980's! Get it right! They didn't even correct this onerous mistake in the "fixed" #RichardDonnerCut! 🤬
